It’s never too late to find love, even when you’re the second person to ever set foot on the moon. Over the weekend, Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin married his longtime girlfriend, Anca Faur, to celebrate his 93rd birthday.

The former astronaut announced his marriage on Twitter.

“On my 93rd birthday & the day I will also be honored by Living Legends of Aviation I am pleased to announce that my longtime love Dr. Anca Faur & I have tied the knot,” Aldrin wrote. “We were joined in holy matrimony in a small private ceremony in Los Angeles & are as excited as eloping teenagers.”

People noted, “Accompanying the tweet were two photographs from the couple’s intimate ceremony, including one of the happy pair posing together, as well as another of a more candid moment of the duo in conversation.

For their special day, Faur wore a white bridal gown adorned with rhinestones, while Aldrin donned a black suit that he decorated with various pins.

Aldrin’s marriage to Faur — who currently serves as the executive vice president of Buzz Aldrin Ventures, per the Los Angeles Chapter of the Romanian-American Chamber of Commerce — marks the fourth time that the NASA spaceman has wed.”

“Faur has a doctorate in chemical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and previously worked at the British chemical company Johnson Matthey and the California Hydrogen Business Council,” The Washington Post reported. “Her social media accounts show photos of her and Aldrin traveling the world, riding helicopters and celebrating holidays together for the past few years.

Buzz’s announcement received over 53,000 Facebook “likes” and “loves” over the weekend and was accompanied by several photos of the newlyweds, according to The AP.

The astronaut also thanked his fans for the birthday wishes on Facebook.

“On July 20, 1969, Apollo 11 astronauts Armstrong and Aldrin made their historic walk on the lunar surface, fulfilling a vow by the late President John F. Kennedy to send a manned crew to the moon and safely return them to Earth. Michael Collins was the third member of the crew.”

“Looking back, landing on the moon wasn’t just our job, it was a historic opportunity to prove to the world America’s can-do spirit,” Aldrin tweeted on the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission. “I’m proud to serve the country that gave me this historic opportunity. Today belongs to you. We must hold the memory of #Apollo11 close.”

Aldrin “is one of the original and founding Living Legends of Aviation,” according to Justin Lips, a spokesperson of the award organization. He is the only living member of Apollo 11.

When Buzz says he loves you to the moon in back, it hits a little different.

Congrats, Buzz and Anca!
